Reindeer walking to the cottage

Follow me! Áidu is located in Ruka, Northern Finland, at the Lake Kantojärvi. Our closest neighbors are reindeer that regularly walk around the property. They also inspired the name of the house, Áidu means "snow that is stamped by reindeer" in the language of the indigenous people of Lapland, the Sámi.
