Áidu is a privately owned lakeside retreat at 66° North, on the edge of the Arctic Circle in Ruka, Finland.


It was designed as a place of retreat rather than a commercial project, shaped by a clear idea of living close to nature without compromising on comfort or design.

Áidu is not a typical rental. Originally we built it for ourselves and decided to share it with a small number of guests each year, who value design, nature and quiet.
